Dr. Johnny Boucher
Dr. Boucher is a former district-level Montessori Specialist, education consultant, teacher trainer, and curriculum writer, as well as learning scientist. He is in love with public Montessori schools in Dallas ISD!

Anavictoria Braun
AnaVictoria's fascination with teaching the whole child for optimal learning has been her life's vocation. Her undergraduate work form Naropa University had a concentration in contemplative practice and her graduate work at Maharishi University revolved around the application of meditation.

Dr. Jose Lema
Jose Lema is a bilingual pre-kindergarten teacher and a recent Ph.D. graduate from Texas Woman's University. Dr Lema has 13 years of experience in bilingual third-grade and pre-kindergarten classrooms. Now, He is excited to embark on his new journey as a bilingual Montessori teacher (PK3-KN) at Prestonwood Montessori.

Brenda Pleas
With more than 35 years of experience in education, Pleas is excited to begin her journey as a Montessori guide. Pleas’ educational philosophy states that any individual that has a yearning for knowledge, regardless of age or circumstances, is capable of learning, and can be successful in their academic endeavors.

Michelle Byrd
Michelle Byrd is a Primary guide who works with children to light their own curiosity and joy through learning about the world around them. Michelle has worked in a Montessori classroom for seven years, and is overjoyed to be able to be a part of this community at Prestonwood Montessori at E.D. Walker.

Evelyn Negrete
Negrete is a recent graduate from SMU with a Bachelors in Education and a Masters in Bilingual Education. She completed her student teaching with Mr. Moreno in Lower Elementary and is passionate about our program. As a former Montessori child, Negrete’s strength is connecting with children and building positive relationships. She loves our children and our community!
